Training has started again!

Finally put on my running shoes again today and ran 5km. Wanted to do a slow 30 minutes, but my legs felt surprisingly ok for not having done any sports for nearly 1 month, so decided to run a slightly faster 5km instead. Did 25'33" and had headwind in the second half, so really happy with that! I will slowly start building up the mileage and try to combine the running with some cycling too.

Brother Pascal ran in Ingelmuster, Belgium today. He participated in the 12.8km 'Brigandsloop' and managed a fine 5th place with an average speed of 17km/h+. Looks good for his 2009 season and hopefully a good marathon time in June.

So hopefully more reports from my training from now on! Tomorrow morning we're off to watch the Liverpool 1/2 marathon. Cold weather forcasted but hopefully less wind than today for the runners.

Ciao Nathalie
