Marathon training progressing very well!

Apologies for this very quiet blog. It's just so much easier to post quick messages on Facebook, but will do my best and try to keep this blog going until at least after the Tokyo marathon on 28/02/2010!

I will post some 'old' news next week as a catch-up for non-Facebook users and readers of my blog. I can say though in a nutshell, that my marathon training is going much better than expected.

Did my longest run so far today, a 30km/18.75miler and ran this distance in 2h47'32", 10.7km/h and therefore faster than my 10.5km/h I should run for a 4hr marathon time. Also, the course I ran was far from flat in the second half, and the marathon on 20th September in Belgium will be flat.

My longest ever run will be back home in Lendelede, Belgium, next Sunday, when I will cover 34km/21.25miles or 5 miles short of the full marathon. I will try and post a blog entry then with some photos too!

Until later this week with a full training catch-up!!

Bye for now - Nathalie
